Wonderland Co-op Guide
Wonderland is built for both solo and co-op play. You can team up with up to 4 friends for a total of 5 players in a lobby — confirmed officially in the ScaryPlay FAQ (“You can team up with up to 4 friends, for a total of 5 players in a lobby”).
What the developers confirmed
- 5-player lobbies — 1 host + 4 friends (official FAQ).
- Boss scaling — boss fight health and quota scale based on the amount of alive players (official patch notes, Aug 15 2026).
- Healing teammates — bandages heal teammates; the official Team Player badge is awarded for “Use a bandage to heal your teammate for the first time”.
- Map visibility — you can now see where your friends are on the map (official patch notes, Aug 14 2026).
Why co-op matters
- Boss fights scale up with more alive players — bring the whole lobby for more quota, but expect a tougher fight.
- More players = more puzzle coverage. With several mini-games active at once, splitting up clears them faster.
- Revives / healing — bandages let you keep teammates alive mid-run (community reports; badge confirmed officially).
Suggested role split (community suggestions)
- Navigator — buys the Map early, calls out puzzle locations and safe routes.
- Puzzle runners — clear mini-games in parallel for Tickets and time.
- Medic — carries bandages, keeps the team alive during chases.
- Chase bait / scout — explores new zones and triggers events deliberately (careful: sprinting attracts Wonder).
Role suggestions are community reports — adapt to your group’s skill level.
Quick tips
- Everyone should know the stamina basics before going in
- Buy at least one Map per lobby — map visibility is shared officially
- Keep bandages for chase phases, not for minor damage
- When a chase starts, call the switches out loud — chase switches scale by difficulty (official, Aug 15)
